Thanks to Mr. Han Zhu for his comments which directed me into further consideration. Mr. Zhu said, the very basic point he'd like to provide me is that, we don't have the real democracy and equality in the international community. The final solutions to the international conflicts will not depend on speaking of truths but depend on the actual strength. We must not understand the international affairs by the ideals and moral values. Most of the time, good intentions can't compete with the brute force.
When the nature (or God) created men, He gave men the necessary power in competing and struggling for existence, which have been the main body in life, sometimes they become very selfish, greedy and lacking of humanity senses. But the Creator also gave human beings intelligence, morals and the gift of reason. The so-called intelligence is to think about destiny beyond the small group's interest, and the so-called morals is something that, during the competing and existence, human beings control themselves and give sympathy to others who are not as fortunate. Intelligence, morals and the gift of reason, most of the time, appear to be very fragile, in some people who worship power, (For example, George Bush) and the authoritarian regimes(Such as China), intelligence and morals are almost invisible. But they are lurking there, waiting to be awakened.
Once the intelligence, morals and the gift of reason show, they usually emit the shocking beautiful light of human nature.
Even at a very dark time, they don't die. When I was on a farm being reformed through labor, the one who monitored me named Che Qike, was a veteran. He once joined the army and fought from Northeast to Hainan Island, and went to the battlefields in North Korea. He killed so many people. His face looked as fierce as a hawk. I watched the threshing ground at that time, and he came over to check on me at night. That night, seeing no one around, he fumbled an ear of corn which still felt residual heat from his bosom, and passed it to me. How much unspoken sympathy lingered on that ear of corn? You have to know that, he got married late, had four children and all were under ten years old. How many corn in the small private plots in front of his door could be produced? To me, that ear of corn was more precious than all I had in my life afterwards.
In the history of mankind, even though most of the time, violence, greed and selfishness are in charge of the process, but people's wisdom, morality and the gift of reason did not die, they quietly lurk in the deep, waiting for a person, or opportunity, to restrict the human nature which has been like a wild horse, going too far. This just like Mother Nature, was so great. When the entire hill is burnt down by fire, can you understand the love of the mother nature?
When Washington just holding office for one term, awoke humans up from the king's dream for the unlimited powers for generations, did you see his super greed and selfishness of the intelligence, morals, and the gift of reason?
When Gorbachev led the Soviet Communism to death, did you hear the world playing a solemn piece of wisdom, morality and rationality?
When Einstein appealed to stop the nuclear weapons, did you feel the worries from a great soul concerning the future of humanity?
Nuclear weapons are extremely dangerous for humans, which are good enough to destroy the environment for human to survive. So on this issue, there is no equilibrium between the State and nations interests of bargaining. Any errors will be at the cost of the State and human destiny. Any reasonable politicians should step out of the narrow group interest, and stand on the height of the Earth to look at the solutions of atomic weapons.
I don't dare to say with certainty that that the ban of nuclear proliferation negotiations between USA and Russia is a moral choice after taking a broad and long view? Or it also contained a hidden strategy of the nuclear monopoly of the national interest? However, what I can see is that if all countries in the world produce atomic weapons, humans will be only one step away from destroying themselves. The nuclear weapons humans posses today can destroy themselves several times, perhaps it sounds a bit deliberately exaggerated. But although this world won't destroy itself by the direct blast of atomic weapons, the follow-after effects of atomic weapons would be enough to set us on the road to demise.
In order to rush in competition to the confrontation situation where they will be tied to each other and survive, somewhat as if what is mentioned in the martial arts novels, being fascinated and obsessed, which seems to be absurd. The only sensible way to deal with nuclear weapons is to stop the nuclear testing, to destroy all existing nuclear weapons. Let's believe that our wisdom, morality and the gift of reason did not die, they are lurking quietly and waiting, waiting for a man, an opportunity to restrict the human nature which as if a wild horse has gone too far.
China, as a big oriental country, should never reveal to its neighbors or the world its nuclear weapons pride of mind, she should use her wisdom to rationally promote the world to destroy all the existing nuclear weapons. If so, then she will make contributions to human beings.
I don't like the Communist system, but I will not consent to any use of force to destroy the Communist regime. This is not only because the Communist Party has all kinds of modern weapons, including nuclear weapons which will cause the death of millions of people, more importantly, the death of this war can't win the democratic system. Democracy can only take root when most people are awakened and need it. In a historical perspective, the communist system certainly will walk toward demise, the Communist party refused to give it up, because it gives the authorities much more power of privilege than common people, and this kind of power of privilege had brought them unfair wealth and everything. However, Mother Nature at the same time, gives human beings wisdom, morality and rationality which exist inside of everyone. While countless unfairness is accumulated into a certain degree they will change. I have read many articles written by different Chinese generals, which are shining, throwing sparkles of wisdom and rationality we'd never seen before. Let's believe that our wisdom, morality and rationality did not die, they are quietly waiting in deep, waiting for a man, an opportunity to restrict the human nature which as if a wild horse has gone too far.
Although the wait can be very long, very painful.
